Can I export a filtered view from Airtable to CSV?

If your view changes in Airtable (new filters, different sort order), the next export automatically reflects those changes.

How does Filla handle linked records in CSV exports?

Airtable's built-in CSV export outputs linked record fields as internal record IDs like "recABC123", which are meaningless in a spreadsheet. Filla resolves each linked record to its primary field value. So if your Orders table links to a Customers table, the CSV will show "Acme Corp" in the customer column instead of "rec7x9Kq2bF". For fields that link to multiple records, Filla joins the primary field values with commas. This makes exported data immediately readable and usable in other tools without a manual lookup step to decode IDs.

Can I schedule automatic CSV exports from Airtable?

Filla's CSV Exporter currently runs on demand from the Filla dashboard. You select the table, view, and fields, then click Run to generate the CSV file. Scheduled exports and webhook-triggered exports are on the roadmap but not yet available. For now, the tool saves your configuration (selected fields, view, format), so repeat exports are a one-click operation without reconfiguring each time.

What is the difference between CSV and TSV export?

CSV (Comma-Separated Values) uses commas to separate fields. It is the most widely supported format for importing data into spreadsheets, databases, and analytics tools. TSV (Tab-Separated Values) uses tab characters as delimiters. TSV is useful when your data contains commas. For example, addresses like "123 Main St, Suite 100" or product descriptions with embedded commas. With TSV, these commas do not interfere with the file structure. Both formats are plain text, human-readable, and supported by Excel, Google Sheets, and most data import tools.

Is there a record limit for CSV exports?

There is no hard record limit. Filla processes tables in batches and handles Airtable's API pagination automatically, so exports with thousands of records work without timeouts or truncation. The processing speed depends on the number of fields selected and the size of the data. A progress indicator shows export status in real time. The final CSV is assembled from all batches and delivered as a single file. For very large exports, using a view filter to scope the export to relevant records will speed up processing.
