How do I convert currencies in Airtable?

Filla's Currency Converter connects to your Airtable base and converts monetary values between 22 currencies. Create a Currency Converter tool in your Filla workspace, select the table and the number field containing the amounts, choose the source currency (fixed or per-record), select one or more target currencies, and set the decimal precision. Can I convert to multiple currencies at once?

Yes. Filla lets you select multiple target currencies in a single run. For each target currency, Filla auto-creates an output field on your table and writes the converted value. For example, if your source field contains USD amounts and you select EUR, GBP, and JPY as targets, Filla creates three new fields and populates each with the converted amount for every record. This is much faster than running the tool three separate times, and the exchange rates are consistent across all conversions in the same run.

Can each record have a different source currency?

Yes. Filla's per-record mode reads the source currency from a field on your table. If your data contains transactions in multiple currencies (some records in USD, others in EUR, others in GBP), the per-record mode converts each record using its own source currency. You need a field (single select or text) on your table that contains the ISO currency code for each record. Filla reads this field and applies the correct exchange rate per record.
