Can I calculate driving distance between records in Airtable?

Does Filla calculate travel time as well as distance?

Yes. For driving, walking, bicycling, and transit modes, Filla calculates both the route distance and the estimated travel time. Distance is written to one number field and travel time to another, so you can sort and filter by either metric. For the Haversine (straight-line) calculation method, only distance is computed because there is no route involved.

Do I need a Google Maps API key?

Google Maps distance follows actual routes: roads for driving, sidewalks for walking, bike lanes for cycling, and transit networks for public transport. Google Maps distances are always longer than Haversine because real routes are never perfectly straight. Use Haversine for rough proximity sorting and Google Maps for accurate travel planning.
