New York to LA? 2,451 Miles. Calculated.
Volunteer signs up and enters their address. The Distance Calculator computes the distance to your site and saves it to the record. Filter by proximity, assign territories, and plan routes, all automatically.

Volunteer Coordinator
You assign volunteers to the nearest site manually. It takes an hour to look up distances for 50 new signups every month.
Sales Operations
Territory assignment depends on distance to regional offices. Your spreadsheet formula broke three months ago and nobody noticed.
Delivery Manager
You need to filter orders by distance from the warehouse. Right now it's a gut feeling based on ZIP code.
One tool, four superpowers
Point-to-point distance
Calculate distance between two addresses or coordinate pairs on the same record. Straight-line or driving distance.
Fixed reference point
Set a fixed location (your office, warehouse, campus) and calculate distance from every record to that point.
Multiple units
Get results in miles, kilometers, or both. Saved as number fields for filtering and sorting.
Automatic calculation
Runs after every form submission. Distance is computed and saved before you see the new record.
Up and running in minutes
Set origin and destination
Choose two address or coordinate fields on the record, or set a fixed reference point as one of the locations.
Choose calculation method
Select straight-line (Haversine) for fast calculation or driving distance for road-based routing.
Set output options
Pick the number field for the distance result. Choose miles, kilometers, or both.
Enable
Turn on the calculator. Distances compute automatically on every new form submission.

Frequently asked questions
Straight-line or driving distance?
Both are available. Haversine (straight-line) is instant. Driving distance uses road network data and takes a second or two.
Can I calculate distance to multiple locations?
Set up multiple calculator instances, one per reference point. Each one saves to a separate field on the record.
Does it require geocoded addresses?
If you have coordinates, it uses them directly. If you only have addresses, pair it with the Geocoder tool to convert addresses first.
How accurate is driving distance?
Driving distances use current road network data. Accuracy is within 5% of actual driving distance for most routes.
