How do I download all attachments from Airtable?

Create an Attachment Downloader tool in your Filla workspace, select the table and the attachment field(s) to download, choose a folder structure and filename template, and click Run. Filla downloads every file from every record in the selected view, organizes them according to your folder structure, and packages them into a ZIP archive for immediate download. Can I organize downloaded files by record or field name?

Yes. Filla offers four folder organization options for the ZIP archive. Flat mode places all files in a single directory with no subfolders. By Record mode creates a folder for each record, named after the primary field value, containing all that record's attachments. By Field mode creates a folder for each attachment field name. Nested mode creates record folders with field subfolders inside them. For example, in Nested mode a file might be located at "Acme Corp/Contract Attachments/contract-v2.pdf". Choose the structure that makes the downloaded files easiest to work with for your use case.

Is there a size limit for attachment downloads?

You can set an optional maximum total size for the ZIP archive in the tool settings. When the cumulative file size reaches your limit, Filla stops adding files and reports which records were included and which were skipped. This prevents the browser from trying to generate an impractically large ZIP file. If you have a very large table, you can use view filters to download attachments in batches. For example, download one month's files at a time. Without a size limit set, Filla will attempt to download all attachments from the selected view.

Can I download attachments from a filtered view only?

Yes. Filla's Attachment Downloader supports view-scoped filtering. Select any Airtable view in the tool settings, and only the records visible in that view will be processed. This lets you use Airtable's native filtering to scope downloads to specific clients, projects, date ranges, statuses, or any other criteria you filter by. If you change the view filters in Airtable, the next download automatically reflects those changes. This is especially useful for periodic backups where you only need files added since the last download.
