How do I use record data in attachment filenames?

For example, if your table has fields for Client Name and Invoice Number, the template "@{Client Name}-@{Invoice Number}" would produce filenames like "Acme-Corp-INV-2026-0042.pdf". You can combine @field references with built-in tokens like {index} for multi-attachment records and {ext} for explicit extension placement. Does renaming preserve the original file extension?

Yes. Filla automatically preserves the original file extension when renaming attachments. A PDF attachment will always keep its .pdf extension, a JPEG will keep .jpg, and so on. This happens automatically even if your filename template does not explicitly include {ext}. If you do include {ext} in your template, the extension appears at the position you specify. Automatic extension preservation prevents files from becoming unopenable due to a missing or incorrect extension after renaming.
