Sections let you group related fields together under a shared header. Respondents can collapse sections to focus on what matters to them.

When to use sections

  • Break a long form into logical parts without adding new pages
  • Group address fields, contact fields, or payment details together
  • Let respondents collapse parts they’ve already completed

Settings

How to set it up

1

Add a section widget

Drag the Section widget from the palette onto your form page.
2

Drag fields into the section

Move existing fields into the section by dragging them below the section header. They’ll appear indented under the section.
3

Configure the header

Click the section and set its title, description, and whether respondents can collapse it.

Styling

Section titles respect your form’s Question text color setting. If you set a custom question color in the form theme, section headers will use that color automatically.
Use sections on single-page forms to give structure without forcing respondents through multiple pages.
